Go Team

High school team on snow for the first time. You have to love this new snow!  It has been almost two years since we’ve seen the likes of this.  A number of the high school team were out today on a short loop on the Clifton Park Common today.  It was great to see them on snow even if they had to self groom the loop. Conditions were excellent.  Best of Luck tomorrow in the first section 2 competition.

Join us for a Family Moonlight Ski Thursday, December 27 in the Vischer Ferry Nature and Historic Preserve.  Weather and snow conditions permitting, meet at the main entrance to the Preserve, at the intersection of Riverview and VanVranken Roads, at 7 PM.  We will ski on the old Erie Canal towpaths for about a mile then share a hot drink, roast some marshmallows over a warmup fire, and have the young ones on their way to dreams of more sugarplums by 8:30.

The event is sponsored by the Mohawk Towpath Byway, Town of Clifton Park, and the Shenendehowa Nordic Club.
