Starting the afternoon of Election Day, Tuesday, November 3 our Bill Koch Youth Ski League will be meeting every Tuesday at 3:45 PM from Room 711 in Koda Middle School, on the Shenendehowa Campus.
We may not have snow, yet, but this is the time to get acclimated to our cooler temperatures and short days. If the weather is nice we will get our first club photographs, hike to the commons play ground do some fun activities and hike back. We will also talk about expectations for the coming season.
Later in the month we will hike with ski poles and if the snow is late in coming we will help Mother Nature along by planting ice cubes to cool the earth so snow will stick when it comes. Fun, fun, and more fun.
The program is open to grade school and middle school ages and neighboring school districts and home schooled youth are welcome to join us.
Parents and/or grandparents also welcome to join the fun!
